The method of fundamental solutions for pointwise source reconstruction

This work deals with the reconstruction of point sources in modified Helmholtz equation two and three dimensions. problem has critical applications engineering medicine, such as identification dipoles monopoles electroencephalography magnetoencephalography locating environmental pollution. From numerical view, we apply method fundamental solutions to solve direct problems arising from sensitivity analysis. In addition recognized advantages this meshless spectral over traditional mesh-based methods, approach represents pointwise adequately. Our examples show that algorithm is capable accurate even when noisy data are inverted.
